I descend from Blanche Ann Lane and William Epps Foster. In early 1960's I
interviewed Thomas Clayborn Florida, grandson of Blanche Ann Lane, and Rev.
Oliver Lane, grandson of Archibald Ross Lane. The Rev. Oliver Lane was
pastor of Wolf Creek Baptist Church in DeKalb County from 1955 to 1975. He
identified Elias Lane Sr as his great grandfather.

1. Elias6 Lane (Joseph5, John4, Thomas3, Thomas2, Thomas1) was born Jan
1788 in Campbell Co., VA, and died Bef. 1880 in DeKalb Co., TN. He married
Nancy Jane Foster 24 Sep 1810 in Campbell Co., VA, daughter of William Foster
and Elizabeth League. She was born Abt. 1792 in Amelia Co, VA, and died Aft.
1880 in DeKalb Co., TN.

Children of Elias Lane and Nancy Foster are:
+ 2 i. Blanche Ann7 Lane, born Abt. 1818 in Campbell Co., VA m William
Epps Foster.
3 ii. Archibald Ross Lane, born Abt. 1821. He married (1) Sarah
Hendricks 06 Jun 1842. He married (2) Sarah Julian Aft. 1850.
+ 4 iii. Caroline Elizabeth Lane, born Abt. 1824 in Campbell Co., VA m
John Fuson.
5. iv. Clementine Cumiller Lane, born Abt. 1825 in Campbell Co., VA.
She married Josiah Jacob 'Jack' Pedigo 22 Jul 1880 in DeKalb Co., TN; born
Abt. 1832 in Warren Co., TN; died 01 Jun 1884 in DeKalb Co, TN.
+ 6. v. Stith H Lane, born Abt. 1827 in Campbell Co., VA Elizabeth Ann
Foster.
+ 7. vi. Mary J Lane, born Abt. 1830 in Campbell Co., VA Jonathan Thweet .
+ 8. vii. Elias Lane, born 12 Oct 1835 in Campbell Co., VA; died Abt.
1899 in DeKalb Co., TN Frances Paralie Hall.
9. viii. Granville Lane b abt 1835 m Sarah Jane Foster
10. ix. Claiborne Lane, born Abt. 1838.
