I have a Joseph F Jackson, a Union soldier. that married Rebecca Walls on 24 Sept 1862 in DeKalb Co. Anyone know anything about him.

Since there have been recent Taylor postings, I am hoping that some
Taylor researcher can give me some insight as to the connection
between Samuel Jackson and the Taylors listed in the following. Does
anyone know why Samuel Jackson would be a legatee of Joseph Taylor?
Samuel Jackson moved from Georgia (not known where in GA)to DeKalb Co
in 1838 where he purchased land. His first wife evidently died in GA
- name is unknown. She was evidently born in TN based on Census
records of her only child, Andrew Thomas Jackson born 9 June 1825 in
Georgia.
