Not questioning it, just would like a source.

Let s keep in touch.

It is amazing to me the migration patterns of families.

One Aries Jones m1st in SC Frances 'Frankie' League b 1801 dau of Joab League
who was first cousin of Edmund League who settled early in DeKalb Co., TN and
left many descendants in area. Edmund League was Uncle of Epps and Joel
Foster and also Nancy Foster Lane. Edmund's sister, Rhoda League, married Joel
Cheatham and is ancestors of Cheathams of DeKalb County.

Aries Jones m2nd Susannah and their daughter, Sarah Melinda Jones married
Hasel Cantrell and they moved to Tennessee. I wonder if Sarah Melinda knew that
the Leagues etc in DeKalb County were related to her half sister? Aries and
Susannah had another daughter Martha Elizabeth Jones who married Barnet Burch
and they moved to Buffalo Valley, Putnam Co., TN in early 1860's and settled
among my Joneses, but Aries no relationship to me.
