Hello Clyde,
I noticed that you mention a Watts Ridge. I am a Watts descendant. What
can you tell me about Watts Ridge? Was it named for some specific people
who lived there? I had never heard of it.
My Watts were in Jackson Co., TN in the very early 1800s, later in Smith,
DeKalb and Warren Counties. My g.grandfather was Isaac Pleasant Watts
(1821-1900) and he was married to Mary "Polly" Ellender Atnip
(1931-1867). He married (2) Nancy H. Patterson (b. 1841).
On my Parsley line, my g. grandfather, Judd Parsley (1823-1891) married
Talitha Lefever (dau. of Eli LeFever and Mary Steele. I have several who
married Lefever/Lafever, etc.
Thanks so much for any thing you can tell me.
Liz
