I have the DeKalb County, TN Marriage books for 1850 - 1900 and then 1900 -
1950 and in the first one there is listed a couple of interesting things so I
will send what I find. They are:

Goodmon, Solomon to Elizabeth Johnson m. 25 Dec 1856 by S. L. Tyree JP

Goodman, Jno. C. to Francis Redmon m. 31 Dec 1856 by Joseph Atnip JP

Goodman, John to America A. Jones m. 21 Mch 1892 by M. L. Bonham JP

In the 1900 - 1950 Marriage book is:

Goodman, John to Margarett Gambol m. 13 Sept 1908 by LP Reeder MG

I also have the DeKalb County Cemetery books and there is no John, America,
Elizabeth or Solomon in the books. The Goodman's listed are

If anyone has access to marriage records, could you check the marriage record
for John C. Goodman and America Jones, ca 1893 to see if it lists any names
other than their own? John Goodman was supposedly the son of Solomon Goodman
and Elizabeth (Johnson?). I would appreciate any information on these people.
