Subject: [TNDEKALB] Locating Ancestors Land
Date: Thu, 26 Jul 2007 07:39:26 EDT

Is there a way to find out where my ancestors land was and who lives on the
land now? The reason I ask is because I cannot seem to find out where they ar
e buried so I'm thinking that it must have been a private cemetery located on
their land.

I have a copy of the land grant but it doesn't give the exact location of
the plot of land.

The grant was for land in Smith County in the area that became Dekalb
County. It is suppose to be around the Doweltown Area on Dry Creek.
