Does anyone have any info on a Salura ELLIS that married Ira DEBUSK? They
married and had several children in Dickson and moved to Arkansas about 1900.
I have been told that one of Salura's children passed the family 'history'
down to one of her kids and so on. I have the DEBUSK kine but
have very minimal on Salura's line. Her mother and father were Miles Thomas
ELLIS and Mariah Frances BLACK. I am trying to find the names of Thomas'
siblings and parents. I have theories but no proof. Supposedly when Salura
and Ira went to Arkansas in a covered wagon, Salura kept a journal of their
trip. Does anyone know anything about this?
