Janna,
I have a record of a Silas Tidwell, born around 1841. I'm not sure if this
is the same one you are looking for. This Silas Tidwell was a member of
Company K, 11th Tennessee Infantry. He was killed in the Battle of Lovejoy
Station, Georgia, September 2, 1864. I have a little more information if
you are interested.
