Hi- Cousin Jim: Thanks for your update on Sarah L. Vick and her sister
Tabitha. I am inclined to believe that my Susan info is correct since I was
using data visually obtained from the cemetery. However, I realize that
publishing errors do happen. When my brother checks the tombstone I will let
you know. Much of my Lyon and Vick info came from Mary Lou Dawson's book. I
believe it was called "South Side Cousins". At the moment it is held by my
brother. She was a native of Clarksville and had access to those ancestral
records. I have met her (now deceased) and she showed me the Archibald Skelton
homeplace on Horse Branch. I visited the cemetery on top of the hill but could
not find his grave. I wish I could help you with the photo's but everything I
have has been published. In Wm. J. Nesbitt's "Primal Families of Yellow Creek"
there is a picure of the Jim Skelton store in the year ca 1900. For some
mysterious reason our two branches of the Skelton family went separate ways
and were never close knit as a family. Maybe it had something to do with the
difference in ages from J.M. Skelton, the eldest, to R.W. Skelton, the
youngest. I am looking forward to sharing our family research. James Patey
