Sandy, thanks for being the "go-between" for me
and Curley.

Curley must be of the same generation that I am
because Richard Dillard Turner and Sarah "Sallie"
Finch were also my great great grandparents.

The Adams family (Richard Dillard's mother's family)
were from Halifax Co, VA. Maybe related???

Tell Curley that I descend through Richard Dillard
Turner's fifth child, Elizabeth Jane, who married
James W. Curtis. Their only child, Sarah Jane Curtis
married Alfred Winslow Trogdon and became the
parents of my grandmother, Ada Elizabeth Trogdon
Anderson.

Ask him which child (there were a bunch of them) he
descends from.

In 1886 Richard Dillard Turner was 80 years old, had
been married three times, had fathered 17 children
and had 180 grandchildren and 80 great grand
children. "There are lots of us."

Regards,
Susy
