This is my first posting and have not been looking into the family very long
either. I am looking for info on Sam Cleveland White the adopted son of John
W. White. Sam's real last name was Jones. The adoption was in 1895 in
Dickson Co. John W. White was married to Martha G. Edwards. Sam married Alice
Cary Wyatt her father was James M. Wyatt and grand parents were William M
Wyatt and Jerusha Jane Petty.
Any help I would be greatful I have other names of family but that will come
soon my Wifes family (Fentress and Taylor) came from Dickson and Humphrey's
county's.
