Hi Barney,

My husband has the Suggs line in his tree. George W. Suggs is the father of
his grandmother Bula Missouri Suggs Mathis. She married John Mathis and
they lived in Dickson Co. George was married twice once to Martha Ann
Reynolds (5 children) and next to Mary Ann Bone (8 children). We have not
had any luck at finding a burial place for any of these people. Missouri
Suggs was born in 1851 child of George and Martha Ann Reynolds Suggs. In my
data base I have Arcadia Suggs born 1876 to George W. and Mary Anne Bone
Suggs. I do have info on all of George's children but have not been able to
trace him further back. Do you have any earlier info on him?

Frances Osburn

Message Board Post:

My paternal gmother was ARCADA SUGG (b.1876) married to William H. MILLER
(b.1870) they had 10 descendants: Herman, Barney, Dovie, Dealie, Tobie,
Dora, Verlie D. (my Father), William E., and Lora.

My mother had three sisters who married into the SUGGS family: (Pearl S.
married Joel; Delma A. married Boyd; and Ruby M. married Ernest).

My parents along with both sets of gparents are buried at the SUGGS Cemetery
located on Woods Valley Rd. in Cumberland Fce., TN. The SUGGS graveyard has
been in the SUGGS family for over 100 years; originally managed by Boyd
Suggs and now managed by his Son and grandsons (Charles, Jimmy, and Gary
Suggs).

Any info you have on the SUGGS lineage from either side of my parents is
greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Take care,
Dan Miller
