Thanks.
They were listed in Dickson County in the 1900, 1910, 1920 census.
However as has been mentioned by others, they could have lived closer to
the county line and perhaps they were closer to Ashland City than to
Charlotte.

Confusion of the county line may be because the area where they lived
was
Dickson County until 1856.

I really need help on this family.
Robert Allen Duke, Jr was born 11/2/1861, Dickson Co, TN. He married
Judith Ann Simpkins 9/8/1878 (where?). Judith Ann Simpkins was born
1/22/1863 (where?).
Robert died 6/25/1930 (where?). Judith died 5/2/1930 in Nashville.
Here is her obituary from the Ashland City Times 5/8/1930.
The burial of Mrs. Julia (sic) Simpkins Duke, wife of Robert of
Bellesburg, took place at Dickson last Saturday. Mrs. Duke died at the
home of her daughter in Nashville last Saturday. She ws 66, a
Presbyterian. Survived by her husband and brother John W. Simpkins, 3
sons, 3 daughters.
Robert's will is recorded in Cheatham County - it starts, "I, R A Duke,
a residentof Cheatham County. . . ".
Robert and Judith are in the 1900, 1910, 1920 census of Dickson County
- Judith is in the 1930 census of Dickson County.
Can anyone explain the 'confusion' re Cheatham and Dickson Counties?
Can anyone tell me where they were married and where they are buried?
