Hello List
I sent a post out last week regarding Samuel Jacob Reagan.
I incorrectly stated he was likely in his mothers HH in 1840.
Correction: He was likely in his mothers HH in 1830 and was Head of HH in 1840.

I believe both Samuel and wife Elizabeth Pennycuff is in HH of widow mother Rachel Reagan (the elder female) in 1830 Fentress, enumeration: 21011-01011001.
Samuel & Elizabeth are the male and female age 20-30 /b. 1800-1810.

The male age 15-20 /b. 1810-1815 I believe is a brother Joel (b. 1810-13) who appears in 1833 Fentress Tax and moves west to CA (1880 Census).
The male age 5-10 /b. 1820-1825 is likely Thomas Reagan b. Dec 1822, b/o Samuel?
Also in HH are 2 males b. 1825-1830 perhaps sons of Samuel?

1840 Fentress for Samuel Reagan (b. 1800-1810) 2100001-110001
Samuel is now on his own with wife Elizabeth.
The male age 5-10 /b. 1830-35 is likely one of the 2 males of 1830 b. 1825-1830.
This male appears to have been born abt 1830. But what became of the other male b. 1825-1830 of 1830?
The 2 males age <5 /b. 1835-1840 are Charles b. 1835 & John M b. 1837.

In 1850 A Thomas Reagan b. 1827 is in HH of Samuel.
Is this Thomas the Thomas b. Dec 1822 (b/o Samuel?) or is he one of the two males b. 1825-1830 of 1830 Census?

Any feedback or additional info most welcomed
Thanks
JW Garrett
