Joseph Alexander Land (1799 SC - 1875 TX) was living in Giles County, TN in
the 1830 Census. 3 of his 5 children were born in Giles County. Moses @
1828; J A Jr 18 May 1830; William Henry 9 June 1833.

By the 1840 Census they had moved to Murray County, GA.
By the 1850 Census they had moved to Marshall County, AL
By the 1860 Census they had moved to Scott County, Ark.
J A Sr moved to Comanche CO, TX in 1874 and died in 1875.
J A Jr became a Baptist Missionary and travelled everywhere.

If anyone would like a word document of the 3 page memoirs of J A Land Jr,
drop me a note. There is very little in it about Giles County.
