Good Morning Everyone
I just received an Alabama Death Certificate for Walter Wright Long. Walter
W. Long was born June 26, 1877 in Giles Co. TN. He died Jan. 15, 1941 in
Athens, Limestone Co. AL. His occupation was with the W.P.A. County Road
Work. Walter Wright Long was the son of Nathan Green Long & Rebecca
Longshore. According to the certificate, Walter was 69 yrs. 6 months, and
19 days old at the time of his death & cause of death was listed as heart
attack. His wife was listed as A. Bell Hunter & his burial is listed as
Minor Hill Cemetery in Giles Co. TN. I cannot make out the age of his
wife, almost looks like 36 ! I have also noticed on the Booth Chapel
Cemetery records that there were 2 women listed as wives for W. W. Long, they
are as follows...Lissia E. Long maiden name unknown died Nov. 30, 1905 and
Maud M. Long who died Oct. 9, 1914. I am curious to know if this W. W.
Long is in fact the same as my Walter Wright Long and also any info that I
can get my hands on would be appreciated.
