We have in our collection the Civil War diary of Lt. Robert C. Thompson,
of Company H, 41st Tenn. Infantry, CSA.

I believe he was from your area. I am currently transcribing the diary,
and hope to publish an annotated version.

I would be happy to trade a pre-publication electronic version of my
transcription, in trade for family background

information. Let me know if anyone down there has worked on this
family. (An article from the Confederate Veteran

Magazine states that the Hon. T. Leigh Thompson, prominent in TN was
Robert's son.) Any information appreciated.
