Subject: [TNGRAING-L] Vineyard's in Grainger Co.

My husband's father's family still live in Grainger Co. I have done alot of
research including talking to the relatives who live there but there are
still loose ends as there always are.

Anyone wanting to share information on the "Vineyard" lines in Tennessee or
the "Vinyard" lines in Virginia feel free to contact me and I will give you
whatever information I have.

I am only stuck on one name: the paternal great great grandmother who
married Alexander Brownlow about 1840. They had four children: James,
Jacob, Nancy Ann* & Sarah.
Sarah was born in 1847. In August of that year, their father married his
2nd wife, Nancy C. Walters, leading us to believe the 1st wife died in
childbirth. She was thought to be Cherokee but I can find nothing to
substantiate it or refute it. This was probably in Washington Co. but since
there is no list for Washington Co., I thought I would send it in with this.
