Hi Roger and Carline,

My Samuel Bowman was born in 1820 in East TN. and died February 09, 1894 in
Bethany, Harrison, Co., MO., bur. Shady Grove Cem. White Oak Twp., Sec. 11.

Samuel married Malinda/Melinda Holmes, who was born October 12, 1821 in East
TN., the daughter of John Holmes and Lydia Register Holmes. Malinda died
October 12, 1914 in Bethany, Harrison, Co., MO., bur. Shady Grove Cem. White
Oak Twp., Sec. 11.

Samuel and Malinda married April 15, 1847 in Greene Co., TN. They moved to
Platte County, Missouri in 1848.

Samuel BOWMAN entered a Land Patent in DeKalb County, Missouri on December 1,
1851, and a Land Patent in Harrison Co MO on October 15, 1853. By the time of
the 1860 census they had moved to Harrison County where they lived their
entire lives.

Do you have any information about this Samuel Bowman's ancestors?
