I have updated my website with my Whitaker family from Washington and Greene
counties. My 3rd great grandparents are Thomas Hargis Whitaker and Jemima
Edgemon. Jemima is the dtr of Mary White (dtr of Isaac White and Sarah
Vaughn).

My cousin Helen Johnson discovered a very old photo of them which I have
posted on my website, along with some of the other Whitaker families of the
two counties.

I am proud to say I now am resident of Greene County, Tenn where many of my
maternal and paternal ancestors settled prior to the statehood of Tenn. There
are links on this page to other pages on my website with many Washington,
Greene, Cocke, and Monroe county families.
