I don't know if there is a connection. James Dinsmore married a Mary Moore in 1808 in Greene Co., TN. She left him and moved to London, Laurel Co., KY, in the 1830's with her son, Samuel K. Dinsmore. I think a daughter, also Mary, married Isaac Moore in KY. I have been able to find nothing in regard to Mary Moore Dinsmore's parents, siblings, etc.
