Good Morning Everyone
I have been following the roll call with interest, is anyone familiar with the Texas Land Company formed in Hardeman County and group left in 1831 for migration to DeWitt's Colony in what was than Mexican Texas??
My +++great-grandmother Sarah (Sally) Grogan came with this group that was formed by several Hardeman County business men in late 1830. She was born in Tn in 1813, however on one of her marriage bond's she said she was late of Alabama. I know some of the other members came from other surrounding counties of West TN. If anyone has any information on this group as a whole or Sally Grogan in particular I would love to hear from you.
