I'm still searching for information on James C. Martin listed in the
1850 Hardin County census with wife Presha (Palmore/Palmer). A fellow
Martin/Palmore researcher informed me that James C. Martin was the son
of John Martin and Nancy McClain. I would be interested in any
documentation as to this fact and information on the
McClain/Martin/Palmore families.
