Hello all...

Sent in first post this morning but forgot details. My gg grandfather
Elisha Weddle was born in TN in 1811. We do not know details but I
believe he probably was born in Hawkins Co. I believe that John Weddle
is a probable ancestor of Elisha, perhaps a grandfather. John Weddle
(Waddle) was born in Holland in 1739 and immigrated to Hawkins Co in
late 1700's where he died in 1799. Three of his sons married Wallen
sisters as follows...... 1. Elias (b 16 april 1770 in Holland married
Nancy Wallen in 1793 in Hawkin Co. Nancy was born in Hawkins Co. on 29
May 1773. 2. Thomas W. Weddle born 1776 Maryland?, married Rosemond
Wallen in 1796 in TN Rosemond was born 1780 in Virginia. 3. Daniel
Weddle born Nov 1777 in Maryland, married Mary Wallen in Hawkins county
TN in 1795. Mary was born March 1782 in Hawkins Co. TN.

My gg Grandfather married one Jemima Owens in Washington County Indiana
in 1836. Jemima was also from Tennessee. I believe that Elisha may be
the namesake of one of the Wallen's but do not know which one. In fact
I have no hard evidence to connect any of the above Wallens to my Elisha
but have been told that Elisha is a prominent name in the Wallen
family.
Can you help?
