On one of the mailing lists I belong to they have an
The Ancestor I would most like to meet
To get things going on this list here is my
submission.
I would like to meet William Ingram b: 1733 in
Montgomery Co., NC.
I would like to know if he moved to Montgomery Co.,
VA. before the
Rev. War.
I would like to know if he was one of the four who
took inventory of David Crocketts
Estate. (First Will Book, P. 54) The other signers
were: John Cox, Abraham McClelan and James Hodges.
The bottom of the inventory list is dated NOV. 21,
1778. Registered in Rogersville, TN.
Hawkins Co.
I would like to know if William moved to Hawkins Co.,
TN about 1790 with his son,
Andrew and brother Thomas.
I would like to know if he had a grandson named
Crockett by his son Andrew.
I would like to know if he had a grandson named James
that appeared in the 1850
Bath Co., KY. Fed. Census. If this is Williams
grandson he gave William great-
Grandchildren of: Andrew, George, Elizabeth, Thomas,
James, Richard, McClelan and Margarite.
Dianne Ingram in Oregon
