Is there anyone on the list researching the Malones in Knoxville?
On the 1870 Knox Co. Census I found a William Malone born abt 1797 in
Ky. I feel that this William is the father of Mildred Malone and Sarah
Malone . They were sisters and both married James Chambers Dunn.
I found J.C. Dunn with second wife Sarah Malone Dunn in the 1870 Knox Co
Census date August 19,1870 and a few houses down on Sept. 7,1870 I found
three of James Dunn and Sarahs children in the household of William Malone.
In the house with William Malone and James Dunn children were William
Harrison 45 from North Carolina and Margret J. I guess William Harrisons
wife and their daughter Martha 2 years old.
In the 1860 Knox Census I found William Malone 64 from Ky. with the same
Margret J.,James,William Sarah, Janette.
In the 1850 I find a William Malone 50 with a Sarah P.47 ,Elizabeth 17,
Mildred 13, Susan E. 11, Thomas P. 9, Mitchell 6, James 3
Any help from the list.
