Hello, this is my first time with this group. Looks like great info. I
would suggest that you look into Beaufort County NC records for the KING
family. I have several families form that area that moved into Mid TN in
the 1830's, including my own BALL family. also of interest to me is where
the folks were captured that died in Rock Island Ill. My ggradnfather (53rd
Inf) was captured near Columbia in 1864 and was sent to the camp in Rock
Island. Any info you have would be of interest to me. Thanks and Howdy folks
