To the person who volunteered to do some LCT lookups,

If, while you are digging through your archives, you run across
anything concerning the early 1800-40 Sheltons I would really appreciate
any source references you might find. I am primarily interested in James
Shelton and his children. I would like to identify and verify the children
of:

Vardeman and Priscilla (?) Shelton,
Peter and Mary (Graham) Shelton,
Charles and Lettie (Shelton) Duncan,
James and Lydia (Reatherford/Rutherford) Shelton,
Jarman and Martha (Winfrey) Shelton, and
Benjamin and Melinda (Shelton) Hudson.

I have abstracts of the LCT court records through 1825 so I am looking
for any other will or estate settlements or land transfers that would
identify at least some of the descendants of the above, but will also take
any other Sheltons you happen to run across.
