Hi Gayle,

I have a Nancy McGehee who married a Thomas Reed at Fayetteville, Lincoln
County, in December of 1816. They later lived in Jackson County, Alabama.
They named their first son Elijah. Do you know if she was part of your
McGehee family?

I also have another Elijah McGehee, born in Alabama about 1831. He was the
son of Daniel and Hester McGehee. Elijah later moved to Oregon County,
Missouri, where Elijah married Lucinda Bennett in 1855. Daniel McGehee may
have been born in Georgia.
