On September 10, 1919, Bryson College opened on the old Morgon School
Property in Fayetteville. It was named after the pioneer minister Rev. Henry
Bryson, who founded the Prosperity ARP Church in Yukon in 1828. The college
was affiliated with the ARP (Associate Reformed Presbyterian) Church. The
school closed in 1929. More information can be found in "The Pictorial
History of Fayetteville and Lincoln County." You still may be able to
purchase this book at the Lincoln County Library. It is quite good.
