Am looking for marriage records of William Davidson (my great great
grandfather) to Martha L. Brandon during the period 1841-42. Two children
born - Elizabeth & Martha. After her death, he married Catherine J. McComb
of Alabama. Some old family records indicate this was on Decembe 31, 1851,
but I have no proof of that. Five children born - Asberry Bascom, James
L.S., Sally E., Mary, and Anda Manda. He and Catherine moved to Texas in
mid-1860's.

Also am trying to determine what regiment William served with in Civil War.
Obituary notice describes him as a Captain.
