You should check out the "Greer" Cemetery in far southern Bedford
Co. Tenn. It is the oldest marked cemetery in Bedford Co. Tenn and
has graves there from 1805. My 3rd great grandparents Morton are buried
there. I would bet that it is very close to Cane Creek which
is on the northern border area of Lincoln Co. where it conjoins with
Bedford. There are approximately 25 Greers buried there.
