Subject: [LCT] Re: TNLINCOL-D Digest V00 #132 - ?
Date: Sun, 23 Apr 2000 03:06:11 EDT
Hi Folks:
The subject Digest page appeared somewhat different from the usual on my
computer. Every one of the seven messages in the transmission, except the
first one by Gladys Shannon, came through with forwarding marks (like <) in
the left margin of each line of text. In addition, many of the lines of text
included end of line break codes (like =95 and =e20).
Is this because Gladys, or whoever puts together the Digest messages, used an
HTML or HTTP language, instead of the standard ASCII text for Internet
messages? In any event, it makes the messages somewhat difficult to read
when the messages contain a lot of non-ASCII characters.
