If anyone is researching the SHAW family, I could use your help.

The "Abstracts of Wills Lincoln County Tennessee -- 1810 - 1895," by Helen
& Timothy Marsh, on pgs. 47 & 48, has the following entry (LCT Will Book
#1, pg. 333):

"SARAH SHAW. Children: Peggy Watson and her children Jesse B., John M.,
Sally, Thomas, Hugh C., Robert F., Mary Jane and Margaret E. Watson and
husband Samuel Watson, John J. Shaw and his wife Dicy and their daughter
Hannah Shaw. Owned land on Coldwater Creek. Also named a Grandson Wiliam
M. Shaw. Executor; Son Hugh Shaw. Signed: Oct 20, 1847. withness: W.
B. Rhea and Isaac J. Holman. Proven in Dec Term. 1847."

Now to my questions:

1. Is Thomas H. Shaw (HH 913) the son of Sarah Shaw? With his birthplace
listed as KY, he wouldn't appear to be a brother of John Shaw (HH1459).

2. Who is the George P. Shaw, age 21, in Thomas J. Shaw's household (919).

3. Is Margaret Watson (HH 1275) the daughter of Sarah Shaw?

4. John Shaw (HH1459) appears to be the John J. Shaw mentioned in Sarah
Shaw's will, as her son. But is Jane actually Dicy Jane?

5. The way the will abstract is written, it appears that Peggy Watson is
the mother of Jesse B., John M., Sally, Thomas, Hugh C., Robert F., Mary
Jane and Margaret E. Watson. But, these do not match the children in
Margaret Watson's household (1275). Therefore, I believe that these are
actually the children of Sarah Shaw; that Margaret E. Watson, wife of
Samuel Watson, is actually the afore mentioned Peggy Watson. But, then
again, she names "John M." in this group, and specifically identifies "John
J. Shaw" as her son. Any ideas?

6. Is Sarah Shaw the widow of William Shaw?

Any help in answering any of these questions, and any additional
information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
