Subject: [LCT] Jemima Farrar--Who Was she?

I am trying to identify the parents of my great great grandmother Jemima Farrar who lived in Lincoln Co. prior to 1818. I sincerely hope some other Lincoln Co. researcher can help me.
Briefly, here is some of what I know about Jemima. She was born in North Carolina about 1798 and moved with her parents to Tennessee when quite young. She married George Stanford in 1812, probably in Lincoln Co., but possibly in Giles Co. Her first child, Thomas Stanford, was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee 16 November 1813, and she had younger children also born in Lincoln Co. George Stanford, husband of Jemima, once owned a 60 acre tract about 14 miles west of Fayetteville which he sold to William Reeves by deed dated 8 Sep 1818, Book B1, Page 375. I do not know the source of George Stanford's title nor the date on which he went into possession. The 60 acre tract conveyed by George Stanford in 1818 had a common corner with a 100 acre tract on which Capt. John Farrar lived, which was conveyed to John Farrar on 15 May 1814 by Clement Cannon, Book C-1, Page 27O. Any dwelling houses on the Stanford and Farrar tracts mentioned would necessarily have been pretty close together, possibly within sight of each other, certainly within easy walking distance. In 1818 or 1819 Jemima Farrar and her husband George Stanford, together with several families related to him, migrated from Lincoln Co TN to Marion Co., Alabama.
I feel sure there was some connection of some kind between Jemima Farrar and Captain John Farrar, but Jemima does not appear on any list of Capt. John Farrar's children that I have seen. So far as I have been able to determine, the only other Farrar family who left tracks in Lincoln Co. prior to the census of 1820 was that of William Farrar, 1784-1845. I believe William Farrar was the son of Captain John. William also seems to have been too young to have been my Jemima's father.
Any additional or clarifying information about Farrar families living in Lincoln Co. between 1810 and 1820 would sure be appreciated.
Ed Stanford
