Sheila and Dick,

I too am looking in LCT in the 1809-1820 period. Sheila, I took
particular note of the name Maclin you are researching. I have a
Bartholomew Maclin Yeager (called Mack), born about 1807 in either TN or
GA, son of Reuben Yeager.

Do you have any Maclin-Yeager marriages? I'm trying to find name of
Reuben's wife, Bartholomew Maclin's mother. B. Mack Yeager also gave his
first child the middle name of Macklin or Mecklin, so I think it was
definitely a family name.

Reuben and his family were living in Lincoln County, TN just prior to
Reuben's death in 1816. Reuben was born in VA, lived in Laurens Co., SC
and Franklin Co., GA as well as LCT. Do you trace family back to any of
those places? One of Reuben's daughters married Sevier Underwood. (I
see the name Sevier in your list.)

I've also found two Yeager-Robertson marriages in later years.
