Kerr's Creek is located on the Fayetteville-Elkton Pike @ Hot Rock. This
area was originally known as West Cyruston; East Cyruston being over Sugg
Hill in the Swan Creek Valley. The name Hot Rock evolved from the practice
of men playing craps on a large, smooth, flat rock on Kerr's Creek, a short
distance from the store.
