Mike I have he was still living in Franklin Co. on the 1870 census with
second wife Frances Taylor. He died Aug 21, 1901.

Adding more info to a previous request: seeking the burial place of William
C. Fanning of Lincoln County. Previous info received stated that William
was
the son of Benjamin Franklin Fanning and was born circa 1829. William and
wife Martha J. Luttrell had 5 children. Recent postings have referenced
daughters Martha Ann Fanning Taylor of Chattanooga and Sarah Jane Fanning
Reynolds of Franklin County. I have found no record of William's burial in
either Franklin or Lincoln County. Does anyone have the info I am seeking?
