In an effort to try and contact other distant relatives, does anyone happen to recognize the name of Willis Burton Franklin of Lincoln Co. TN? He married Sarah Coats, eldest dau. of Thomas J. Coats of LCT, and, if family tradition is accurate, he may well have moved to Collin Co. TX c. 1882 or so.
My guess is that he may well have had family just over the line in AL, but I can't be certain of that either.
