Dear List,

Within the past couple of weeks, there was quite a discussion on the
ARMSTRONG family and several related families. As was mentioned, David
Armstrong (b. Abt. 1786 SC) married Rhina DEAL.

I have a Rhina Ann Deal (b. Abt. 1823), who married James M. McFarland on
30 Feb 1843 in LCT. Rhina Ann Deal is the daughter of Bennett Robert Deal
(b. Abt. 1796 SC) and Mary A. ____ (b. Abt. 1803 SC).

When it comes to genealogy, I am really not much of a fan of coincidence.
I am wondering if Rhina Deal (m. David Armstrong) might not be a sister or
cousin of Bennett Robert Deal? Any additional information on either Rhina
Deal or Bennett Robert Deal would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
