SOMEBODY mentioned liking to have the obit of Mrs Amanda Wells, but I
seem to have lost their e-mail address. Perhaps you can send this in
the right direction.

From the FAYETTEVILLE OBSERVER of 25 January 1923:

"Mrs. Amanda Wells, aged 89 years, died of the infirmities of old age
on Wednesday, January 17, 1923. She was a member of the Methodist
church and during her long life had been a contrite and faithful
follower of the Lord. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. E. M.
Laten after which the remains were laid to rest in the Routt
graveyard. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fulton Patrick and
Miss Betty Wells."

Bk. 1847-1854 p.553: Julia A. Greer claims Benjamin Oliver is a
squatter on her land and is using too much firewood. Moved from
Campbell co., VA 1831 to Lincoln Co., TN John Wesley Oliver letter
12 Aug 1971: 'Pleasant Oliver's father Benjamin Franklin Oliver was
born July 4, 1776 in ?Lynchburg.' The birthyear is wrong.

REBECCA MASON was born circa 1790 in VA. She died between
1840 and 28 Sep 1847 in Lincoln County, TN.
