Sorry, I don't have a GPS. We saw some beautiful country while wandering
around the back roads. The LCT official map is inaccurate in several areas,
but we managed to locate by lister input the approximate location of Gill
Cem. We found, however, 2 possible gate entrances. A neighbor offered to take
us up the hill about a mile off the road to the cemetery, but warned of
timber rattlers and ticks. Since it was Aug in TN, we declined the hike.
If anyone knows where Elkmont Springs Cem is located, I'd be thrilled to
hear it. My gr gr grandfather may be buried there, but it may be one of those
that has dissappeared into the weeds forever.
