In your discussion of Black Dutch and others, you might want to do some
research into the Melongeon's. Thought to be of Portugese descent, they
show characteristics such as a definite bump on the back of the head, and a
ridge behind the teeth that makes an audible clicking sound. They were
NOT American Indians, but intermarried with natives. This may explain some
of your queries.
