Virginia,

Thank you for posting this information concerning the Whitakers. Mark
Whitaker and Catherine Teague are in my line. I did not know their
descendants moved to Lincoln Co., TN. A grandaughter of theirs, Nancy
Whitaker, married James York and their 9th child was my great great
grandfather. His name was Marcus Alexander York. His grandaughter was Sarah
Elizabeth York and was my grandmother, my father's mother. My mother was
Ella Jane McKinney McElroy and her father was born in Lincoln Co., TN. His
name was John McKinney, son of William McKinney and Elizabeth Pigg Wakefield
McKinney.

Thanks again.
Dortha McElroy Greenlee
