Hi, I cant help you with Samuel Hill, but have a question for you. I
have a Sarah J. Hill who m. Monroe Shelton 1871 in LC....They have children Jess
F. b. 1873 and John b.abt 1875, she must die as Monroe m. again in
1878...Anyway, this Jess F. Shelton was a police officer in Fayetteville..have not found
that many of the other Sheltons were Officers...Do you know anything about
Sarah Hill? I have nothing as she never made it on a census....I think she might
be buried in Southworth Cem beside Monroe Shelton (this not proven as yet that
the J.M. Shelton there is my Monroe)....Anyway, just curious if anyone has
any info on her. Oh Monroe Shelton was in Dist 22 in 1880.
