I have info on the Buchanan's from Giles County, starting with William
Buchanan in 1678 from Ireland to Samuel Buchanan, William Hayne Buchanan to
John Buchanan to Samuel Gardner Buchanan to James K Polk Buchanan to the
McAlister Family in Giles County.

Samuel Buchanan was married twice. First to Martha McNutt in 1730 in Chester
County, Penn and then to Martha Keyes in 1738 in Virginia.
