Hi,
I have some info on some of these people you guys are
mentioning.....Jared Ethridge is brother to Charity Ethridge who married Henry Warren, probably
in Nash Co NC...I have found nothing at all to link this marriage in Wake Co,
and have not seen the original record, which I have been told was unreadable,
(the Wake Co marriage)...However, I do know that the Ethridges....brothers
Jared and Jeremiah, a sister Anna, and sister Charity Warren, all children of a
Jeremiah Sr who died in Nash Co NC, this line documented pretty well....All
these Ethridges came to LIncoln Co Tn with the Warrens, (Henry b. 1775, Daniel
b. 1772, John, who may be married to an Ethridge also. Jeremiah Sr. names a
dau. Courtney, John Warrens common law wife was Courtney Lewis, and Willis
Warren). Jeremiah Ethridge Jr winds up in Lawrence Co Al. along with several of John
Warrens children. Jared Ethridge has been a mystery, he is lost around 1830
when Daniel Warren leaves for Ms, and Jeremiah Ethridge leaves for Al. These
two families mix and mingle thru several years..

You should be able to reach some researchers of these Ethridges...I can hook
you up with some if interested.

I have to say I have not looked into the Gray family, other than one, who
married a Warren, cant really remember now the particulars now, would have to dig
that up. I'll try to look thru some of my Nc stuff and see if I can find some
Grays there, will let you know if i have any luck.
