Glenda Tate Hansen, 68, of Chattanooga passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001,
in a local health care facility.

Ms. Hansen was a graduate of Whitwell High School and an employee of DuPont
for a short time before moving to Chicago.

She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Eda Tate of Whitwell and was of
the Cumberland Presbyterian faith.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Hansen of Chicago; and a
brother, Don O. Tate of Cleveland, Tenn.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Hansen and Tracy Kruger; one
grandson, Quinn Edward Kruger, all of Chicago; one sister, Norma T. Gray; one
brother, Everett R. Tate, both of Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with
the Rev. Jeff Sledge officiating.

The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Thursday at the North Chapel
of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
