Marilyn Garner was sent the following info by a Melungeon researcher. I find
it fascinating in several respects. If you have researched Marion & Hamilton
counties you will recognize some of the witnesses names and read their
testimony about where they lived at various times, relationships, etc.

The info that was sent to Marilyn (the trial transcript) is the last link on

I would suggest reading the info at the link "Lewis Shepherd ("Romance of
the Melungeons')" first so that you will better understand what the trial is
about.
