Found what appears to be your Martha on the 1850 Census Index.
Marshall County, Household 291-40
VAUGHN, James 32, born TN, Eliza 33, born Va, Martha 4, James H. 6/12, Joesph NIMMONS 12,
Andrew J. HALLS, 21
There were so many in 1860 that I haven't found them yet, but I will!
